This Program must be administered either before or after failure.
In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS44938" as the Part Number
and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.
If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The fuel hoses can rub the recovery bottle, engine belt guard, and/or frame edge on certain 226D, 232D, 239D, and 249D Skid Steer and Compact Track Loaders.
In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 9% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.

Reroute the fuel hoses and replace if they have failed due to rub through causing a leak. Refer to the attached Rework Procedure.

Rework Procedure

BEFORE FAILURE REWORK PROCEDURE:
1. Partially free the fuel hoses by removing the hose clamps at condenser, tie-straps, existing protective sleeve, and P-clips at the door and frame. Refer to Image1.1.1 for the location of the parts (A) that will need to be removed. The door P-clip will not be reused.

2. Install a 132-5789 Ladder Clip (B) on the door to replace the P-clip no longer being used. Refer to Image1.2.1.

3. Assemble the 160-2243 Abrasion Sleeve (6 inches long) over both fuel hoses and secure with two 7K-1181 Cable Straps (C) as shown in Image1.3.1.

4. Reinstall the frame 4D-6466 P-clip, secure both hoses (D), and angle the P-clip down 10 degrees. Refer to Image1.4.1.

5. Secure hoses to ladder clip on rear door with 7K-1181 Cable Strap (E) and add a 7K-1181 Cable Strap (E) around both hoses as shown in Image1.5.1.

6. Reinstall the original protective 416-6043 Sleeve with two 7K-1181 Cable Straps and secure the hoses to the condenser with existing hose clamps. Refer to locations (F) in Image1.6.1.

AFTER FAILURE REWORK PROCEDURE:
If the fuel hose has rubbed through and leaks, replace the 5P-1507 Fuel Hose. the shorter hose is 89cm long. The longer hose is 140cm long. Route the hose as instructed in the Before Failure instructions.
Additionally, replace the three 7K-1181 Cable Straps that will need to be removed in order to completely remove the leaking hose.
