The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS52883" as the Part Number
and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst. |
The existing lift cylinder(s) may leak on certain 272D Skid Steer Loaders, 297D Multi Terrain Loaders, and 299D Compact Track Loaders. If the existing lift cylinder(s) fail/leak it will require rework of the cylinder(s). |

If the cylinder(s) have failed/leak, reseal the cylinder(s) with a new 380-6119 Seal Kit.
Refer to UENR3731, Disassembly and Assembly, in order to complete this Rework Procedure. |
