Description of Change: New belts are available for the machines listed. The new belts secure hydraulic hoses to the machine, reducing wear.
The new 161-5393 Belts are effective with the 550 (7ZN157-Up), 570 (4XR165-Up), and 580 (7CN189-Up) Wheel Harvesters. The new belts are adaptable to first production for the machines listed.
The harvester head frame may tip over when it is in the vertical position. Personal injury or death may result if this occurs. Secure the frame to the yoke with a chain or similar restraint prior to working on the harvester head.

The harvester head frame should be in the vertical position. Restrain the frame in order to prevent the frame from tipping while working on the feed rollers. Perform the procedure that follows in order to remove the feed rollers.
NOTE: The HH65 Harvester Head is shown in this procedure. The HH55 Harvester Head and HH75 Harvester Head are similar.
Chain used to secure the Harvester Head to the yoke.
Installation Procedure
1. Lower the harvester head to the ground. Make sure that the harvester head is in the VERTICAL position.
2. Engage the parking brake. Stop the machine.
3. Turn the two battery disconnect switches to the OFF position.
4. Remove the guards around the rear of the swing plate.
Reference: For additional information on tilting the cab, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cab Tilting", for the machine that is being serviced.
5. Install the belts as shown in the illustrations that follow.
NOTE: Only install the hoses indicated with an arrow.

After installing the hoses, install the guards around the rear of the swing plate.
Turn the two battery disconnect switches to the ON position.
