Special instruction REHS0577, "Installing a Cab Door on a Skid Steer Loader," is now available. The publication covers the installation of both the 178-2252 and 178-2253 Cab Door Arrangements.

For cold weather conditions, Caterpillar recommends using a cab door on a skid steer loader. When the cab door is utilized in conjunction with the other cab windows, operator comfort is increased. Plus, the heating system also works more efficiently.

Adding a cab door will also protect the operator against flying debris.

REHS0577 can be obtained through the normal literature ordering channels.
