Description of Change: The seating between the cartridge and the main body of the valve has been improved. The copper washer that was between the cartridge and the valve has been removed from the assembly. This change is effective with the above listed serial numbers.
Adaptable To: The new 168-7176 Load Control Valve replaces the former 117-6383 Load Control Valve. The cartridge in the modified valve must be tightened to a torque of 140 - 0 / + 14 N·m (103 - 0 / + 10 lb ft.)
Main body (1) has an improved seat face in order to receive cartridge (3) that in effect will eliminate leaks. Copper washer (2) will no longer be in the assembly.
NOTE: A 117-6383 valve cannot be updated by removing the "168-7176" washer and increasing the torque.
