The 112-6219 Bracket has been improved for backhoe loaders in order to mount the new 171-5284 Bracket. The 171-5284 Bracket was added to 145-7179 Air Conditioner Lines in order to support the 104-9493 Air Conditioner Hose. This hose should no longer rotate or foul against other components while the engine is running.
This change was effective with the machines listed in Table 1. This change is adaptable to earlier machines by performing the rework procedure.
Rework Procedure

1. Remove transmission fill tube and the engine oil dipstick from the 112-6219 Bracket (8). See Illustration 1.

2. Remove the 112-6219 Bracket (8) from the engine. See Illustration 2.

3. Drill an 11.5 mm (.452 in) diameter hole in the 112-6219 Bracket, 82 mm (3.228 in) (A) from the right edge and 30 mm (1.181 in) (B) below the top edge. See Illustration 3.
4. Install the 112-6219 Bracket on the engine. See Illustration 2.

5. Install the 171-5284 Bracket (3) and the clip (9) for engine oil dipstick using 8T-4908 Bolt (6), Nut (2), and Washer (7). See Illustration 4.
6. Install the clip (10) for the transmission oil fill tube. See Illustration 1.

7. Place the 7C-4354 Clip (4) around the hose. Attach the Clip (4) to the 171-5284 Bracket (3) using 8T-4136 Bolt (5) and 8T-4121 Washer (1).
