Proper Throttle Line Servicing Procedure {1269}

Usage:

AP-1055B (8BM),
AP-1000B (7HN),
BG-2455C (6TN),
BG-260C (8GN) Asphalt Pavers

When servicing 115-8369 Throttle Lines Group on the AP-1000B/BG-260C or the 117-8176 Throttle Lines Group on the AP-1055B/BG-2455C the following must be done to ensure that the throttle operates correctly.

1. Locate the throttle solenoid valve, which is on the right side of the hydraulic tank and mounted on the bottom outboard side of the 119-4360 Control Manifold. On the bottom of the manifold, locate hoses to the correct side of the throttle cylinder. The "TR" port is closest to the rear of the machine. The hose coming out of the "TR" port should be routed to the rod end of the throttle cylinder. The hose coming out of the "TB" port (closest to the engine) should be routed to the head end of the throttle cylinder.

2. The two electrical connections on the throttle solenoid valve must be located correctly. The gray 352 wire must connect to the coil closest to the "TR" port. The orange 353 wire needs to be connected to the coil closest to the "TB" port. Once connected, ensure that the harness has the proper strain relief.

3. This system uses reduced auxiliary system pressure. This reduced pressure should be set at 3615 ± 361.5 kPa (525 ± 25 psi). If it is not set properly, refer to KENR3508 for the AP-1000B/BG-260C or KENR2886 for the AP-1055B/BG-2455C for the instructions.
