Usage:

RR-250 (6ED363-Up) Reclaimer;
RR-250B (3RR1-151) Reclaimer;
RM-350 (5FK1-Up) Reclaimer Mixer;
RM-350B (7FS1-94) Reclaimer Mixer

New asphalt emulsion controller, DC-2 computer and flow meter are replacing the current emulsion controller and flow meter.

The 112-6944 Asphalt Emulsion Controller and 144-6700 Flow meter will no longer be available. A new 167-3888 Asphalt Emulsion Controller, 167-3887 DC-2 Computer Control and a 166-9070 Flow meter will be offered as replacements. Some machine modifications and new parts will be required to retrofit models built before RR-250B (3RR152) and RM-350B (7FS95). Earlier model machines can be updated using the following parts lists and installation instructions.

NOTE: There are several combinations of old and new parts that will function together.

If you are replacing the old 112-6944 Controller with the new 167-3888 Controller, you will need to add the 167-3887 DC-2 Computer and 167-3889 Harness before the system will function. The following instructions will outline which components will operate together and which changes will need to be made to insure they operate properly together. Order KENR2790, December 1998, Asphalt Emulsion Spray System Operation and Service Manual for information on the operation of the new controller and emulsion system. Order KEBU6861 for operating and service information on the 112-6944 Controller and emulsion system.

The 110-4318 and 144-6700 Flow meters will function with the new 167-3888 Controller and 167-3887 DC-2 Computer. If you are using the new controller and DC-2 computer with the older flow meters, you will need to change the K-factor in the controller to correspond to the value stated on the tag attached to the flow meter flow tube. If this tag is missing, use 1950 as the new K-factor value. Refer to KENR2790, December 1998, Asphalt Emulsion Spray System Operation and Service Manual for set up of the new controller and DC-2 computer.

The new 166-9070 Flow meter will also function with the 112-6944 Controller. The K-factor in the controller will need to be changed to that of the new flow meter. Use 191 as the new K-factor. Refer to KEBU6861 Asphalt Emulsion Spray System Operation and Service Manual for changing the K-factor in the 112-6944 Controller.

The following parts lists are for the complete retrofits of the new asphalt emulsion controller, DC-2 computer and flow meter. Refer to the above instructions to help determine which parts are needed for partial updates.

The following line art and parts list is for RR-250A (6ED363-Up) and RR-250B (3RR1-151):
