With the introduction of new mix designs in the asphalt paving industry, Caterpillar Paving Product Inc. has developed an 168-0232 Asphalt Deflector Kit. This kit when used will reduce the possibility of centerline mat inconsistencies. The kit consists of two additional guards that extend the chain guards and a deflector that mounts to the front of the auger housing. Below is line art of the kit and a parts list:
