Checking The Transmission Oil Level {3030,3080,3081}

Usage:

928G (6XR, 7SR) IT28G (8CR, 9AR)

Check the transmission oil level while the machine is on a level surface.

The transmission oil level guage is located under the cab. See Illustration 1.

The best time to check the transmission oil level is when the system is warm. The guage should indicate full (A) when the engine is not running and machine is cold. The guage should indicate about half full or higher (B) when the engine is idling and the transmission is in neutral and warm. If the oil level is low (C), additional oil should be added. See Illustration 2.
