Track Alignment Procedure {4198}

Usage:


AP-1055B (8BM),
BG-2455C (6TN) Asphalt Pavers

NOTE: The tracks must be free to rotate when conducting this procedure and the machine should be placed on jack stands of adequate size to support the machine.

1. Run the machine at full throttle in pave with the propel lever forward and the speed dial in the center position.

2. Observe the track guide blocks in relation to the bogie wheels, the guide blocks should run in the center of the bogie wheels.

NOTE: The tracks must be adjusted if the guide blocks are not centered in the bogie wheels.

3. Return the speed lever to neutral, idle the engine, and turn off the key.

4. Loosen the jam nuts (15) & (17).

5. Adjust screw jack (16) two turns in the direction needed to center the guide blocks and tighten jam nut (15).

6. Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 until the tracks are aligned.

NOTE: If the adjustment is performed properly the guide blocks should run in the middle of the bogie wheels.
