Description of Change: A new tension cylinder rod is used. The rod assembly is now chrome plated. The chrome plating improves the corrosion and wear resistance of the rod assembly. This dramatically improves seal life.
Adaptable To: The 148-6543 Rod Assembly replaces the 108-6195 Rod Assembly. The 148-6543 Rod Assembly is effective with the Challenger 35 (8DN913), Challenger 45 (1DR1864), and Challenger 55 (7DM1213) Agricultural Tractors. The 148-6543 Rod Assembly is adaptable to all earlier machines.
