Description of Change: Improved bearings are used in the transmission planetary groups on certain Off-Highway Trucks. These bearings feature an improved cage geometry which will control roller and gear alignment and reduce load on thrust washers.

Adaptable To: The 148-0329 and 148-0330 Bearings are a direct replacement for the former 9U-8244 and 9U-8243 Bearings and are used in 3T-0036, 6Y-5642, 9U-9824 Planetary Groups (not serviced). The 148-0329 and 148-0330 Bearings are effective with 784B (5RK26) Tractors; 785B (6HK799), 789B (7EK649), 793C (4AR244) Off-Highway Trucks and are adaptable to all earlier models.

The 148-0329 and 148-0330 Bearings are effective in the transmission planetary groups with the following serial numbers 2BE02821, 6LE01078, 4GX00741.

The 148-0329 and 148-0330 Bearings are also used in 0R-4007, 0R-4008 and 0R-4749 Transmission Arrangements and are effective with (T5869) on all models.
