New Relief Valve Pressure Settings For Main Hydraulic System{5069,5117}

Usage:

771D (6JR),
775D (6KR) Quarry Trucks;
776D (5ER) Off-Highway Tractors;
769D (5TR),
773D (7ER),
777D (3PR) Off-Highway Trucks

Description of Change: A new control valve group is used in the hoist circuit for 775D (6KR) Quarry Trucks, 776D (5ER1) Off-Highway Trucks, and 777D (3PR1) Off-Highway Trucks. The new control valve group has a new relief valve group set to 18950 ± 175 kPa (2750 ± 25 psi).

The relief valve in the control valve group for 771D (6JR) Quarry Trucks, 769D (5TR), and 773D (7ER) Off-Highway Trucks remains at 17250 ± 175 kPa (2500 ± 25 psi).

Adaptable To: The new 137-1844 Control Valve Group is effective with 775D (6KR97) Quarry Truck, 776D (5ER1) Off-Highway Tractor, and 777D (3PR1) Off-Highway Truck.

The new 137-1844 Control Valve Group is adaptable to 775D (6KR1-96) Quarry Trucks.

The 9T-5714 Control Valve Groups with 9J-0622 Relief Valve Group are adaptable to first production for 771D (6JR) Quarry Trucks, 769D (5TR), and 773D (7ER) Off-Highway Trucks.

Relief Valve Adjustment Procedure

Oil temperature at 27 ± 3°C (80.6 ± 5.4° F).

* For 137-1844 Control Valve Group (137-1843 Relief Valve Group), set pressure to 18950 ± 175 kPa (2750 ± 25 psi) at 466 ± 8 L/min (123 ± 2 U.S. GAL/min ) for bench test, or field adjust to 18950 ± 175 kPa (2750 ± 25 psi) at high idle engine speed.
* For 9T-5714 Control Valve Group (9J-0622 Relief Valve Group), set pressure to 17250 ± 175 kPa (2500 ± 25 psi) at 466 ± 8 L/min (123 ± 2 U.S. GAL/min) for bench test, or field adjust to 17250 ± 175 kPa (2500 ± 25 psi) at high idle engine speed.
* Add 3H-2549 Shims (3) to increase pressure.

NOTE: One 3H-2549 Shim equals 483 kPa (70 psi).

* Remove 2J-2866 Shims (4) to increase pressure.

NOTE: One 2J-2866 Shim equals 242 kPa (35 psi).
