Updated Clipping Method Improves Durability Of Fan Motor Inlet Tube Assemblies{5057}

Description of Change: An alternate method of clipping the tube assembly prevents excessive movements that might cause chaffing and/or other damage. All parts required for this update are contained in the chart below.

Adaptable To: The alternate method of clipping 144-9454 Tube Assembly is effective with 980G (2KR1401-Up, 9CM802-Up) Wheel Loaders, 824G (4SN355-Up) Wheel Tractors, and 825G (6RN321-Up) Soil Compactors and is adaptable to first production for the machines listed by following the installation procedure below.

Procedure To Install Alternate Clipping On 144-9454 Tube Assembly

1. Remove 117-7502 Tube As. (3), 117-7503 Tube As. (2) and 139-1457 Hose As. (1).
