New Metering Pump Group Improves Steering Control{4312}

Description of Change: A new metering pump group replaced the former metering pump group in the steering system. The new metering pump group allows oil to circulate through the pump and hydraulic oil tank when the steering system is not in use.

Oil circulation keeps pump and steering system temperature the same, preventing a sudden, uneven temperature rise and a slight binding of the metering pump when steering is initiated.

Adaptable To: The new 136-2185 Metering Pump Group is a direct replacement for the former 119-8741 Metering Pump Group. The new metering pump is effective with the 924F (4YN827, 5NN844, 6MN591) Wheel Loaders and IT24F (4NN716, 6KN208) Integrated Toolcarriers.

The new metering pump group is adaptable to the following machines:

918F (3TJ1-Up, 2CK1-Up, 5DL1-Up), 924F (4YN1-826, 5NN1-843, 6MN1-590) Wheel Loaders.

IT18F (6ZF1-Up, 5EJ1-Up), IT24F (4NN1-715, 6KN1-207) Integrated Toolcarriers.
