Description of Change: A larger single dowel locking plate and thrust flange are now used to replace the former two dowel locking plate and thrust flange in the hitch drive shaft groups. The new locking plate and thrust flange will increase service life and serviceability.

Adaptable To: The new 110-6257 Locking Plate (2) and 110-6256 Thrust Flange when used together are direct replacements for the former 7U-6058 Locking Plate (1) and 7U-6071 Thrust Flange. The new locking plate (2) and thrust flange are effective with D25D (1HK35), D30D (3AJ337), D40D (2JJ101), D350D (9RF543) and D400D (8TF850) Articulated Trucks. The new locking plate (2) and thrust flange are adaptable to earlier D Series Articulated Trucks and D30C, D35HP, D35C, D350C and D400 Articulated Trucks.

The new locking plate with one single locking dowel and 19 mm (.75 in) square holes (3) will allow adjustment to be done with a 3/4in drive ratchet.
