Revisions have been made to the recommended lubrication oils for Caterpillar Off-highway Trucks and Tractors. Key points to remember are:

- * Multi grade oils should not be used in the transmission or in the hoist, converter, and brake hydraulic system.
- * It is recommended to use the heaviest weight oil allowed in the following lubricant viscosity chart.
- * This information supersedes any previous publications which may contain conflicting information.
- * Oils that contain friction modifiers (non-TO-4) should not be used in the transmission, hoist, torque converter or brake cooling system.
- * Multi grade oils should not be used in the transmission or in the hoist, converter, and brake hydraulic system.
