New Covers Protect Inverted Rear Suspension Cylinders{7164}

Description of Change: A new one piece cover secured by Velcro and two clamps provide additional protection for the seals in the inverted rear suspension cylinders.

Adaptable To: The new 115-9308 Covers and 115-9309 Clamps are effective with 784B (5RK14) and 785B (6HK313). The new 115-9310 Covers and 115-9311 Clamps are effective with 789B (7EK262) and 793B (1HL134). This change is adaptable to all earlier trucks with inverted rear suspension cylinders 785 (8GB1-Up), 785B (6HK280-Up), 789 (9ZC1-Up), 789B (7EK185-Up), 793 (3SJ1-Up) and 793B (1HL58-Up).

When installing the clamps and covers, wrap the cover around suspension housing with the Velcro Seam positioned inside toward centerline of truck. Both clamps should be installed in the head end on the cylinder. Do not install clamps on the rod end of the cylinder.
