Additional Clamp Used In Fuel Injections Lines Groups{1252}

Caterpillar Machines Powered By 3412 (73W) Machine Engines

Description of Change: An additional clamp is used in the fuel injection lines groups on the engines in these machines. This clamp goes between the number 8 and number 10 fuel injection lines. See the illustration. The additional clamp will reduce vibrational stress and provide improved reliability.


Location of the new clamping components in the fuel injection lines groups. 6N-5124 Clamp (1). 7N-4417 Clamp Assembly (2). 6H-9954 Screw Assembly (3).

Adaptable To: The new 6N-5124 Clamp (1), 7N-4417 Clamp Assembly (2) and 6H-9954 Screw Assembly (3) have been added to the fuel injection lines groups. The new components are in effect with 3412 Machine Engines 73W15586 and adaptable to 3412 Machine Engines 73W9043-Up.
