Description of Change: New wheels have greater wall thickness in high stress areas to increase service life.
Adaptable To: The new 106-7888 Wheel is a direct replacement for the former 8X-2637 Wheel in 5T-1023 Front Wheel Group. This change is effective with 789B (7EK190) Truck. This change has been made to 789B (7EK156-161, 163, 168-174, 180-186) Trucks. This change is adaptable to earlier machines.
NOTE: When adapting earlier machines to this change it also requires a new 106-8752 Seal Retainer for the former 7D-2889 Seal Retainer and a new 106-8753 Brake Hub for the former 8X-9123 Brake Hub. These components are part of 5T-5070 Service And Parking Brake Group.
