Check Valves Now Used In Hydraulic Steering Circuit To Prevent Steering Kickback{5067}

Usage:

AP-1000 (1HD) Asphalt Pavers

Description of Change:

Check valves are now installed in the inlet port (P) of each steering valve on the AP-1000 Asphalt Pavers. The new check valves reduce the potential for steering kickback.

Location of 103-7345 Check Valves in 87-1456 Steering Oil Lines.
(1) 103-7345 Check Valve. (2) 6V8397 O-ring Seal. (3) 3K0360 O-ring Seal. (4) Steering valve. (P) Inlet Port.

Adaptable To: The new 103-7345 Check Valve is installed effective with AP-1000 (1HD56). The new check valves are adaptable to AP-1000 (1HD1-Up) by removing the 6V-8723 Elbow in the inlet port (P) and installing the 103-7345 Check Valve for each steering valve group. When installing the 103-7345 Check Valve, replace the 6V-8397 and 3K-0360 O-ring Seals at each location. See illustration for location of new check valve.
