The need for checking the tightening torque for the wheel assembly lug bolts at predelivery is no longer necessary.
This is due to the improved bolt tightening torque procedure used at assembly. This procedure specifies the bolts be tightened to a torque of 570 ± 80 N·m (420 ± 60 lb ft), plus turn an additional 60 ± 5°. However, the tightening procedure should be used when servicing the wheel assembly.
