Description of Change: New gas springs for engine enclosure doors have dual seals, improved ball sockets and extension locks.
Adaptable To: New 1046649 and 1046650 Gas Springs are a direct replacement for the former 9V4788 Gas Spring Assembly. Usage requires two rear springs (1046649) and two front springs with extension locks (1046650) instead of four 9V4788 Springs. This change is effective with CP-563 (5AJ92, 1YJ385), CS-563 (7GG330, 8XF779), and CS-583 (1EL129, 8YJ128) Vibratory Compactors.
