Seal And Seal Holder In Transfer Gear Groups Now Serviced As One Piece{3159}

D250B, D300B, D25C, D30C, D35C, D350C, D25D, D30D, D350D Trucks

The output transfer drive groups on the above articulated dump trucks have a seal arrangement which isolates the transfer gear compartment from the parking brake discs and plates. Formerly, the 2U5371 Seal was carried in a 6U2748 Seal Holder. The seal holder is made from a plastic material. The illustration shows the location of the seal and seal holder. During disassembly, the seal holder was often broken as the seal was driven out. Now, both the seal and seal holder are serviced with the 7U7368 Seal Holder Group. This new group consists of both former parts supplied as an assembly.

Location of the 2U5371 Seal and 6U2748 Seal Holder now serviced as the 7U7368 Seal Holder Group.
