Description of Change: Many components of the exhaust shield groups have been changed to provide easier assembly and serviceability. The turbocharger shields have been changed to eliminate the flange bolt joint on the sides. The new shields are connected with a plate and shield on the end.
Adaptable To: The new and former components of the 1N4813 Exhaust Shield Group (used on the 3508 Engines in D11N and 776B Tractors and 777B Trucks) and the 2W0215 Exhaust Shield Group (used on the 3512 Engines in 785 Trucks) are identified in Illustration 1, and Charts A and B. The new components are in effect with 3508 Engine 99W2347 and 3512 Engine 96Z560.
The new components, when used in the groups listed in Chart A and/or Chart B are adaptable as direct replacements for the former components.
