Usage:
PR-450 Cold Planers
An installation kit is available to upgrade the electrical system and improve overall system reliability for PR-450 (7DC187-Up) Cold Planers.
Included in the 6R0437 Field Installation Kit are:
...Provisions to install a magnetic clutch water pump for the water spray system.
...A cutter drum neutral interlock that prevents cutter drum operation and/or engine starting when the cutter door is open.
...A sensor to disengage the cutter drum clutch if the machine moves backwards during a cut.
...A reset lamp to indicate a kick-back or cutter door open fault.
...A power supply cable and individual circuit breakers for all electrical circuits.
Prints are also available to assist in the installation of the kit. The prints contain illustrations and information on installation and test procedures which must be performed both before and after the kit is installed. To order the prints, contact the CPPI Product Analyst at (612) 493-1321.
