New Hoist Diverter Valve Group Eliminates Spring Breakage {5066}

Description of Change: A new hoist diverter valve group is used in the hoist oil lines groups. The new diverter valve will help eliminate spring breakage that could occur in the former diverter valve. The new diverter valve uses a pilot piston to move the valve spool toward the new spring. This results in less force against the spring. The spool in the new valve has a hole through its center. This will prevent oil from being trapped at either end of the spool.

Adaptable To: The new 6E2235 Hoist Diverter Valve Group is a direct replacement for the former 4T7399 Hoist Diverter Valve Group in the 5T4479 and 8W4444 Hoist Lines Groups. The former diverter valve group is canceled. The components of the new valve are identified in the illustration and chart.
