New Governor Control Bracket Used To Prevent Bolt Loosening {1265}

Description of Change: A new governor control bracket (1) is used. The former bracket had two mounting bolts. These bolts had a tendency to work loose. The new bracket has four mounting bolts. This will help prevent bolt loosening.
Location of the components.
Adaptable To: The new governor control bracket and mounting components are identified in the illustration and chart. The new components are in effect as follows and adaptable to all earlier trucks.

When installing a new bracket on earlier articulated dump trucks, retain two 8T9043 Bolts (5) and 8T4224 Washers (6) used to mount the former bracket. Install the new components in the location shown.
