1. Loosen clamps (1) and slide hose (3) off of the breather. Loosen clamp (4) and remove breather (2) from the valve cover.

2. Remove bolts (6) that hold the valve cover to the valve cover base. Remove valve cover (5).

3. Remove bolts (7). Remove valve cover (8).

Install Valve Covers

1. Put valve covers (1) in position on the valve cover bases. Install bolts (2) that hold the valve covers in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 120 ± 24 lb.in. (13.6 ± 2.8 N·m).

2. Put breather (3) in position on the valve cover and tighten clamp (5). Slide hose (4) on to the breather. Tighten the clamps that hold the hose.
