Fuel Injection Valves (Precombustion Chamber)

Usage:

Remove Fuel Injection Valves (Precombustion Chamber)

start by:

a) remove valve covers

1. Remove valve cover bases.

2. Disconnect clips (1) from fuel lines. Remove fuel lines (2). Put covers on all fuel line openings for protection.

3. Remove nut (4) that holds the valve in precombustion chamber.

4. Remove fuel injection valve (3) from the chamber.

5. Remove the nozzle from valve body.

Install Fuel Injection Valves (Precombustion Chamber)

1. Install nozzle (1) on valve body (2). Tighten nozzle finger tight only.

2. Install fuel injection valve (3) in precombustion chamber. Install the nut that holds valve in chamber. Tighten the nut to a torque of 55 ± 5 lb.ft. (75 ± 7 N·m).

3. Remove protection covers from fuel lines. Install the fuel lines. Use tool (A) (B) to tighten fuel line nuts to a torque of 30 ± 5 lb.ft. (40 ± 7 N·m). Connect clips to fuel lines.


NOTICE

Do not cause damage to the O-ring seals on the inner fuel lines.


4. Install valve cover bases. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 120 ± 24 lb.in. (13.6 ± 2.8 N·m).
