Precombustion Chambers

Usage:

Remove Precombustion Chambers

start by:

a) remove rocker shafts and push rods

b) remove glow plugs

c) remove fuel injection valves

1. Remove coolant from the engine.

2. Install tool (A) in precombustion chamber.

3. Remove precombustion chamber and gasket.

Install Precombustion Chambers

1. Install a new O-ring seal and gasket on precombustion chamber. Put liquid soap on O-ring seal and bore in cylinder head. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on threads.

2. Put precombustion chambers (1) in position in the cylinder head.

3. Use tool (A) to tighten the chambers to a torque of 150 ± 10 lb.ft. (205 ± 14 N·m).

4. Fill engine with coolant to correct level.

a) install rocker shafts and push rods

b) install glow plugs

c) install fuel injection valves
