LOWER COST C-15 & C15 ACERT
REMAN CYLINDER HEAD OPTIONS
Announcement
The Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division is pleased to announce the addition of a lower cost cylinder head option for truck and machine applications. The recently released head options utilize chromo intake valves rather than the more expensive inconel valves required for extremely high temperature applications. The chromo valves have demonstrated they will provide the same performance and reliability as the inconel valves in machine and on-highway truck applications. These cylinder heads are not recommended for use in EPG, Industrial, or Marine applications, which should continue to use the Inconel valve heads. All Reman Upgrade-to-New Heads, which could service either application, will continue to use the Inconel valves. Refer to the following chart for product specific part number information.
*All Reman UTN Heads are built with the Inconel Valves which can be used in all application
Features and Benefits
? All Reman cylinder heads come with Caterpillar
? genuine exhaust and intake valves, valve guides, seats, and other critical components.? All components are processed to Cat print specifications to ensure top performance.
? Reman cylinder head groups come fully assembled with valve guides, valves, springs, and hardware to provide a readily available, cost effective repair option.
