When reporting the repair, use "PS5240" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Rework Procedure
1. Insure compactor blade is resting firmly on the ground, parking brake is set, and all pressure in the hydraulic system has been relieved prior to disconnecting the hydraulic lines.
2. Remove parts from 4T1541 Lines Group as indicated in Illustration 1.
3. Remove 6J1272 Cylinder Group. Once the cylinder group is removed, rework the 8V4631 Plate as indicated in Illustration 2.
4. Prime and paint the reworked plate.
5. Install the mounting group so that it is assembled as shown in the 1053377 Mounting Group (Illustration 3). The parts consist of the mounting group does not change.
6. Once the mounting group has been assembled, install the new 1326835 Cylinder Group.
7. After the cylinder has been installed, assemble the new hoses and seals as indicated in the 1327889 Lines Group (Illustration 4).
8. Check the hydraulic fluid level, add if necessary. Operate the machine to fully warm hydraulic oil and check for leaks.
