Improved Hardware Now Used To Fasten Front Suspension Cylinder To Frame{7201}

769B, 769C, 773, 773B, and 777 Off-Highway Trucks;
768B, 768C, 772, 772B and 776 Tractors
Description of Change: Hardened, flat washers are now used at both the bolt head and the nut to fasten the front suspension cylinders to the frames on the above models. Formerly, one lock washer was used at the nut. 772, 772B Tractors, 773 and 773B Off-Highway Trucks are now using longer bolts and increased bolt torque. Also, the 776 Tractors and the 777 Off-Highway Trucks use longer bolts, hardened nuts and increased bolt torque. These improvements permit an increase in the bolt torque on the joint.
Adaptable To: All of the above models when the new parts shown in the chart are used together.
