Tightening Torque Increased For Nuts In Fuel Injector Wiring Harness Cap Assembly{1408}
Usage:
All 3500 with EUI and 3500B Commercial Engines
The tightening torque of the nuts in the fuel injector wiring harness cap assembly has been increased. Formerly, the tightening torque was 1.70 ± 0.25 N·m (15 ± 2 lb in). The recommended tightening torque for the nuts has been increased to 2.50 ± 0.25 N·m (22 ± 2 lb in). This change will help prevent electrical shorts or discontinuity.
