New Blade Tip Brackets Used With New Circle And Beam Assembly For Stronger Blade Support{5254,6154}

Usage:

14G And 16G Motor Graders

Description of Change: New blade tip brackets are used on 14G and 16G Motor Graders, with new circle and beam assemblies to fit the brackets. The new brackets do not have the slotted hole which was in the former brackets. This makes the new brackets stronger for better blade support. The new circle and beam assembly does not have the short shafts which fit into the slots in the former blade brackets.

Adaptable To: All earlier machines. See the topic "Installation."

INSTALLATION: The new circle and beam assembly is a direct replacement for the former assembly, and can be installed with either new or former blade brackets. The new blade brackets can be used with a former circle and beam assembly, but a modification is necessary. The short shafts which fit into the slots of the former brackets must be removed from the blade beams. Cut off both shafts at the same time; do not remove one without the other. It is not necessary to install both new brackets if only one needs replacement, but the shaft must be removed from the side with the former bracket in addition to the side with the new bracket.
