Usage:
Start By:
a. Release hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release" for the machine that is being serviced.
NOTE: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, all hoses and all tubes. This will help prevent fluid loss and this will help to prevent contaminants from entering the system.
1. Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2) from the axle oil cooling pump.
2. Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and (4) from the axle oil cooling pump.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness from electrical connectors (5) and (6).
4. Remove two bolts (7), the washers and axle oil cooling pump (8).
5. Remove O-ring seal (9) and coupling (10) from axle oil cooling pump (8).
Installation Procedure
NOTE: Check the condition of all O-ring seals and of all parts. If any components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
1. Install O-ring seal (9) and coupling (10) on axle oil cooling pump (8).
2. Install axle oil cooling pump (8), bolts (7) and the washers. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft).
3. Connect the wiring harness to electrical connectors (5) and (6).
4. Connect hose assemblies (3) and (4) to the axle oil cooling pump.
5. Connect hose assemblies (1) and (2) to the axle oil cooling pump.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks.
7. Check the oil level in the front and rear axle assemblies and fill if necessary. For the correct procedure, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced.
