Length under test force ... 14.2 mm (.56 inch)

Test force ... 18 ± 1 N (4.0 ± .3 lb)

Free length after test ... 23.9 mm (.94 inch)

Outside diameter ... 8.1 mm (.32 inch)

(2) 7B-8194 Spring (for the stem)

Length under test force ... 29.5 mm (1.16 inch)

Test force ... 134 ± 11 N (30 ± 2.5 lb)

Free length after test ... 55.1 mm (2.17 inch)

Outside diameter ... 23.1 mm (.91 inch)

Striker Adjustment Procedure:

1. Place a 19 mm (.75 inch) ball of putty (or similar material) on the front of the frame stops.

2. Start the engine and raise an empty bucket about 300 mm (12 inch) off the ground. Disengage the parking brake.

3. With the engine at high idle, steer rapidly into both stops.

4. Steer the machine into the straight ahead position and engage the parking brake. Stop the engine.

5. Measure the thickness of the putty. The putty must be pressed to 12 ± 3.0 mm (.47 ± .12 inch) after the turns.

6. If necessary, adjust the strikers until this dimension is correct.
