Window Wiper and Wiper Motor (Front) - Remove and Install - Lower

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove nut (2) and wiper (1).

  2. Remove cap (3).

  3. Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 for the other side.

  4. Remove water nozzles (4).

  5. Remove screws (6) and cover (5).

  6. Remove screws (7), the nuts, and bracket (8).

  7. Disconnect harness assemblies (9).

  8. Remove nuts (10) and wiper motor (11).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install wiper motor (11) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten nuts (10) to a torque of 19 ± 1 N.m (168 ± 9 lb in).

    2. Tighten screws (6) and (7) to a torque of 6 ± 1 N.m (53 ± 9 lb in).

    3. Tighten water nozzles (4) to a torque of 6.5 ± 0.5 N·m (57.5 ± 4.4 lb in).

    4. Tighten nut (2) to a torque of 24 ± 1 N.m (212 ± 9 lb in). Retighten nut (2) to a torque of 24 ± 1 N.m (212 ± 9 lb in).
