Window Wiper and Wiper Motor (Rear) - Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove nut (1) and wiper (2).

  2. Remove cap (3).

  3. Open door (4).

  4. Remove screws (5) and panel (6).

  5. Remove straps (11) and disconnect harness assembly (10).

  6. Remove bolts (7) and nut (8).

  7. Remove wiper motor (9).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install wiper motor (9) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten nut (8) to a torque of 37.5 ± 2.5 N.m (27.7 ± 1.8 lb ft).

    2. Tighten nut (1) to a torque of 24 ± 1 N.m (212 ± 9 lb in). Retighten nut (1) to a torque of 24 ± 1 N.m (212 ± 9 lb in).
