System Pressure - Release
Procedure for Releasing the System Pressure
Release the hydraulic system pressure before any hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.
- Start the engine and raise the boom until the bucket or the implement is off the ground.
- Adjust the position of the bucket or the implement so that the implement is parallel to the ground.
- Lower the boom until the bucket or the implement is flat and stable on the ground.
- Stop the engine.
- Turn the engine start switch to the ON position without starting the engine.
- Place the hydraulic activation control lever in the UNLOCKED position.
- In order to relieve any pressure that might be present in the pilot system, move the implement control levers and pedals to the FULL STROKE position.
- Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position.
- Return the hydraulic activation control lever to the LOCKED position.
- Slowly loosen the cap on the hydraulic tank and release the pressure.
