Window Wiper and Wiper Motor (Front) - Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove nut (1) and wiper (2).

  2. Remove cap (3).

  3. Open door assembly (4).

  4. Disconnect harness assemblies (7).

  5. Remove screws (5) and display (6).

  6. Remove four screws (8) and rear view mirror assembly (9).

  7. Disconnect harness assemblies (10).

  8. Remove bolt (11) and fan (12).

  9. Remove grommet (15).

  10. Position harness assemblies (13) and (14) out of the way.

  11. Remove screws (16) and panel (17). Disconnect the speaker harness assemblies from panel (17).

  12. Remove cable straps (20) and disconnect harness assembly (21).

  13. Remove bolts (18) and nut (19).

  14. Remove wiper motor (22).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install wiper motor (22) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten nut (19) to a torque of 37.5 ± 2.5 N.m (27.7 ± 1.8 lb ft).

    2. Tighten nut (1) to a torque of 24 ± 1 N.m (212 ± 9 lb in). Retighten nut (1) to a torque of 24 ± 1 N.m (212 ± 9 lb in).
