Hydraulic Tank - Remove and Install

Usage:

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Release the hydraulic system pressure.

  1. Drain the hydraulic oil into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual , "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Remove six bolts (2) and cover (1).

  3. Remove nine bolts (3).

  4. Disconnect harness assembly (4) and remove cover (5).

  5. Remove four bolts (6) and cover (7).

  6. Remove bolts (8) and cover (9).

  7. Remove bolts (10) and handle (11).

  8. Remove five bolts (12) and cover (13).

  9. Cut the straps and disconnect harness assembly (14).

  10. Cut strap (15) and disconnect harness assembly (16).

  11. Cut straps (17) and disconnect connectors (18).

  12. Cut strap (19) and disconnect harness assembly (20).

  13. Disconnect five hose assemblies (21).

  14. Remove two bolts (23).

  15. Unplug connector (24) and reposition fuel pump (22) out of the way.

  16. Remove four bolts (26) and reposition fuel pump (25).

  17. Disconnect hose assemblies (27).

  18. Loosen the clamp and disconnect hose (28).

  19. Attach a suitable lifting device to the hydraulic tank. The weight of the hydraulic tank is approximately 62 kg (137 lb).

  20. Remove bolts (29), the spacers, and the hydraulic tank.
