Piston Pump (Hydraulic Fan) - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove the fuel priming pump and primary filter.
- Remove the secondary fuel filter base.
- Remove the fumes disposal filters.
- Disconnect harness assemblies (3) and position out of the way. 5Remove clamps (1) and clamp (4). Remove tube assembly (2).

- Disconnect hose assembly (13) , hose assembly (14), hose assembly (15) , hose assembly (16), and the O-ring seals. Position the hose assemblies out of the way.

- Disconnect harness assembly (17), harness assembly (18), harness assembly (19), harness assembly (20), harness assembly (22), and harness assembly (23). Position the harness assemblies out of the way.

Illustration 13 g06266120 - Pull piston pump (propel) (38) and piston pump (fan) (39) away from the gearbox to free the spline. Remove O-ring seal (41) and discard. Remove piston pump (propel) (38) and piston pump (fan) (39) as an assembly.

- Install piston pump (fan) (39) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of
15 ± 3 N·m (133 ± 27 lb in) . - Apply Tooling (A) to the splines of piston pump (propel) (39) prior to installation.
- Apply Tooling (A) to the splines of piston pump (propel) (38) prior to installation.
- Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of
