Reference: The Surface Finish Inspection section of the Reuse and Salvage Guidelines , SEBF9236 , "Fundamentals of HVOF Spray for Reconditioning Components"
Information has been added for the inspection of HVOF Cylinders on all Off-Highway Trucks. Follow the updated procedure in the Surface Finish Inspection section of the Reuse and Salvage Guidelines, SEBF9236 to determine if a cylinder needs refinished.
The reuse and salvage guidelines can be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS). The reuse and salvage guidelines are also available through the normal literature distribution system at your local Cat© dealer.
