Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install oil screen housing (16) and bolts (17).
- Lightly lubricate the bores of tube assembly (18) and oil screen handle (15) with the fluid that is being sealed. Install tube assembly (18) and oil screen handle (15).

- Install cover (12) and bolts (11).

- Apply Tooling (A) to the gasket. Install the gasket, oil pan (2), and bolts (3).
- Install drain plug (1). Tighten drain plug (1) to a torque of
145 ± 15 N·m (107 ± 11 lb ft) .
