Description Of Change: The new engine software includes a fuel quality input feature that did not exist in the former software.
Adaptable To: The new engine software replaces the existing software and is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above. Refer to Table 1 for a list of the new and former software part numbers.
Note: Cat® Electronic Technician (ET) revision 2016A is required to flash new flash file to the ECM. If an earlier version of Cat ET is used, there might be a warning when flashing the slave ECM, which can be ignored.
