There have been several isolated instances of issues with the Aftertreatment Regeneration Device (ARD).The gauze within the ARD can become blocked and can result in low combustion temperatures. Low combustion temperatures will cause issues with ARD.
The following diagnostic trouble codes may be displayed in the electronic service tool:
- 3473-7 Aftertreatment #1 Failed to Ignite: Not Responding Properly
- 3719-XX Soot Loading Percent : High
Ensure that the latest available software is installed. Refer to Technical Marketing Information (TMI) for the latest flash file. Refer to Troubleshooting for information on installing flash files.
