9N-2038 Turbine Clamp As  Use the following procedure to tighten the turbine clamp assembly:
1. Torque to 18.1 N·m (160.2 lb in).
2. Loosen to 1 to 2 turns.
3. Again, torque to 13.6 ± 1.2 N·m (120.4 ± 10.6 lb in)
Opening pressure of the wastegate is 142.0 ± 3.5 kPa (20.6 ± 0.5 psi)
7W-2297 Clamp As  Torque to 13.5 ± 1.0 N·m (119.5 ± 9.0 lb in)
375-2467 Flange Locknut  Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A copper anti-size to the threads. 
Torque to 70 ± 5 N·m (52 ± 4 lb ft).

  1. Remove bolts (2) and shield assembly (1).

  2. Disconnect two band clamps (4), remove bolts (5), and elbow (3).

  3. Remove bolts (6), bolts (8), then disconnect tube assembly (7) and tube assembly (9).

  4. Remove clamp (10) and clamp (11).

  5. Remove nuts (13) and turbocharger (12).

    Note: Do not reuse nuts (13).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install turbocharger (12) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Apply Tooling (A) to nuts (13).

    2. Tighten nuts (13) to a torque of 70 ± 5 N·m (52 ±4 lb ft).

    3. Tighten clamp (11) to a torque of 12 ± 4 N·m (106 ± 35 lb in).
